The Importance of Accountability

Accountability is Important. Everyone should have a “Paul” and a “Timothy”. The following conversation reflects the importance of accountability –

Tim: 911

Paul: What’s the emergency?

Tim: This must be why they call it “sexually active”, I was once activated and now nature is calling

Paul: Stop what you’re doing and go read your Bible

Tim: What should I read?

Paul: Maybe the part that says fornicators will burn in hell…

As funny as this conversation may seem it should not be taken lightly. Sin is no laughing matter. Make sure you have yourself surrounded by the type of friends you can read about in Mark Chapter Two. Friends who will do whatever it takes to get you to Jesus even if it means taking off the roof. If you don’t already have one find at least one accountability partner today.
